FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS or FAQ's

Question:  What method of shipping do you use?

Answer:  The glass ornaments are shipped via USPS Priority Mail.  Large orders may be shipped via UPS due to the large box size.  If this occurs, you will be notified by email of the difference in shipping charges.

Question: Does each ornament come in a box?

Answer:   Generally, the answer is No.  If the glass Christmas ornament or set of ornaments come in a box or package, the item description will state that it does. The 12 Days of Christmas ornaments come in boxes of four ornament day sets.  The tea light candles come in boxes. The other blown glass ornaments are carefully wrapped in bubble wrap and placed with shipping peanuts into your shipping box.

However, the Inge Heirloom Ornaments by Inge-Glas place their ornament sets, such as the Baby's First Christmas, the Twelve Days of Christmas and the Bridal Assortment in very nice wooden storage boxes.  There is no extra charge for these boxes and they make perfect storage cases for your glass Christmas ornaments.  Individual Inge-Glas Christmas glass ornaments usually do not come in their own boxes. 

 Answer:  The Abigail Collection ornaments are made in Poland by carefully selected artisans, using Abigail Pfeffer's specifications. 

Question:  If I burn the tea light candle in the glass ornament, will it damage the hand painting?

Answer:  No.  As long as you light your candle with a match and not a butane lighter, the glass and its beautiful paint should not be damaged. 

Question:  Will you be shipping outside the U.S. anytime soon?

Answer:  Not this year, unless you have a large order.  If you have a large order, please contact us and we may be able to accomodate you. However, your shipment may be delayed a few days as we would need to make inquiries about customs and duty charges.

Question:  Are any of your ornaments made in China?

Answer:  No, all of our ornaments are hand made in Europe.

Question:  If an ornament arrives in a damaged condition, will it be replaced?

Answer:  If the ornament is in stock and you notify us immediately, the broken ornament will be replaced.  If it is no longer available and you notify us immediately, a refund will be issued.  Please see the policies page. 

Question:  Do you charge sales tax?

Answer:  If you live in the state of Michigan, you will be charged the 6% state sales tax.  All other states will not be charged sales tax for items shipped to states outside of Michigan.
